The return of: The First Fantasy Retreat in Greece
Last year, our very first retreat sold out and what unfolded was nothing short of extraordinary. An unforgettable gathering of fantasy lovers from around the world became a truly magical experience and, without question, the first of its kind worldwide.
This year, we return for five unforgettable nights in a stunning private villa, and yes, we’ve added an extra night, giving you a full free day to explore, unwind, or simply soak in the magic at your own pace. Even more time to live the story.
By day, we’ll step into our own mythic tale: swimming as mermaids, wielding swords before the towering walls of a medieval castle, and wandering through ancient olive groves that feel untouched by time. By night, we gather to share stories, laughter, and forge friendships bound by our love of fantasy. Throughout it all, renowned fantasy photographers will capture every moment, bringing your character to life against the enchanting backdrop of Greece.

Photoshoots
Forest
We’ll start our retreat with a day at the villa, letting everyone settle in and enjoy the flexibility to relax and change outfits. The day will be split into two activities, with the group rotating to enjoy both.
A guided mermaid training session, where we’ll learn to pose and work with mermaid tails and equipment in and out of the water. Followed by a whimsical photoshoot in the villa’s olive tree garden. Think ethereal fairies, floating dresses, or even rangers and druids.
Sea
On the second day, we’ll pack our mermaid tails, sea nymph dresses, and pirate hats and head to one of Rhodes’ most luxurious beach bar.
We’ll enjoy an all-day photoshoot on a beautifully organised beach, with plenty of creative opportunities. While others take turns in front of the camera, you’ll have time to relax on sunbeds and soak in the surroundings. When it’s your turn, you’ll transform into a mermaid, pirate, sea siren, or nymph; let your imagination run wild.
Castle
For our final photoshoot, we will embark on a medieval quest, stepping into a world of knights, warriors, and mythical legends.
This is the perfect opportunity to channel your inner warrior, noble, rogue, or sorcerer, with the grand architecture of Rhodes’ medieval castle as your backdrop.
Whether in armour, flowing cloaks, or regal gowns, you’ll bring your own story to life in this stunning historical setting.

Rhodes
Rhodes is an island where history and beauty meet under the golden Mediterranean sun. With its crystal-clear waters, ancient ruins, and the medieval charm of the Old Town, Rhodes is the perfect setting for the first Fantasy Content Retreat in Greece.
The ancient stone walls and the grand Palace of the Grand Masters stand as reminders of Rhodes’ rich past, including its Italian occupation. These historic locations, along with the stunning beaches, will serve as the backdrop for our fantasy photoshoots.
By day, the sun-drenched beaches will invite us to relax and play mermaids, while by night, the warm, fragrant air will guide us through cobbled streets to lively tavernas offering authentic Greek delicacies. Every moment here is an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the island’s magic, where fantasy becomes reality.

And of course, there’s a much bigger wonderful team working behind the scenes to bring every Wanderfull Tale to life. Clara, my brilliant second-in-command, is always there to inspire and empower you; from outfit guidance to creative direction, she makes sure everyone feels seen and ready to shine.
We’re also lucky to collaborate with extraordinary creators like Tina from Arma Medusa, whose armour corsets transform you into a legend, and Harriet Christelow, whose otherworldly gowns feel straight out of a dream. Their artistry helps you step fully into your character and make the fantasy real.
